Dr. Dowlat offers thermal therapy to women with small breast cancers as an alternative to radiation therapy after surgery. This innovative technique of using a hot balloon at the center of the the tumor site helps to treat the spread of cancer within the breast. Since this technique uses hot fluid contained within a balloon, the risks are minimal. This is also a one time treatment. There is no need for continual visits to a hospital or facility to receive treatment.
